As a Chinese, I really really appreciate you being so open-minded and stay positive the entire video. I've been to Beijing during the summer and it was extremely hot which make it super easy to lose patience and be irritated in the situation that you met in the video. Thanks for being honest and objective and show what cities in China really look like. It is also fun to see what western people (without being too biased) think and feel when they visit China for the first time. Hope you enjoyed your trip and visit again soon!

Am Chinese. I feel like there should be less security checks in exchange for all the cameras. They know what you’re doing and exactly when you’re doing it; might as well lay off some of the bureaucracy.
You’ve got to make reservations in Beijing almost everywhere 😅
please do more search， i saw so many forengers have good experience in China. please spend some time and effort to learn how to use your cellphone here
WOW he really knows a lot，about almost everything，in last video the length of railways，this one the echo walls.
Another thing is to have Google translate app available it will help you with any translation you want in foreign country too 😜

Those cameras are mostly for catching car speeding and check whether you are using your phone while you’re driving, so that they can give you the traffic fine, and those cameras can also help police to catch the criminals, that’s why China is safer than USA, but I still think it invades our privacy, maybe specific laws are needed on how these cameras are been used

It is burning hot in Beijing summer, and this is basically why people bring umbrella in sunny day.

去天安门旅游的游客实在太多了，所以不得不进行预约制。而且中国首脑办公地点就在天安门附近，所以不得不加强监视和审查。
There's a park on a hill directly north of Forbidden City. From there you get a really nice view of the Forbidden City below.
