Kuala, Lumpur, Malaysia πŸ‡²πŸ‡Ύ βž– Join me as I roam around Petaling Street, one of the most popular markets in Kuala Lumpur, and for good reason. It’s a vibrant and chaotic place where you can find everything from high-end fashion to cheap knock-offs. I try a bunch of unique food options and of course, bargain hard with the local vendors to get the best price for the goods!

  1. Why can't these vendors just tell you the price rather than showing you the calculator ??

  2. Egg tea is a direct translation issue they are tea eggs very popular in China from what I’ve seen and not weird like the balut which I could never eat 🀒

  3. I love ur courage to try the food and drinks and not being afraid of getting poisoned

  4. Pricing Fake Gucci for more than 100 rggt is wild..hahaha..anyway i enjoy ur video so much..my sister introduce me to ur vids..Hope u enjoy ur time here!!❀

  5. That bangladeshi 5:40 outright lied to you lol, none of those traders there are Malaysians.
90 percent of the market there that are selling fake goods are foreigners ran stores owned by elderly Chinese Malaysian licensed operators . Hence why you see
some of the older Chinese folks hanging around behind the scenes. They are there incase the authorities raid the places . When the raid happens, the foreigners run and the Chinese local owners remain to show that they are the ones manning the stores as those foreigners are not using the proper licenses and visas to practice business in Malaysia. They are selling fake goods and dont contribute to the taxes .The only stores manned by the locals there are the food shops within the market .

P.S on a side note Luke, i noticed all the cash you have been using in your videos are older variation of Cash notes. Whoever it is that you changed your money with wasnt an honest person and just dumped his stock of old notes on you and most probably other foreigners too.

  6. I noticed compared to other southeast asian countries Malaysians dont seem to be curious about someone vlogging. They look unbothered. Other countries they always look or would like to be seen in the camera.

  7. i can understand when someone laughs you think is there something wrong but its very normal in asian countries πŸ˜€

  8. I love watching your videos Luke ! Thank you for bringing us across the world with you ❀

  9. probably an untraveled thought, but it always awes me how people of other countries know and understand so much of other languages. Goes to show what we can do better

  10. Why the calculator? They can just say the amount. Do they feel it is more official? Smh

  11. Kind of cringe he how he gave the ice cream back to the people he bought it from. If you don’t like it, throw it in the bin and walk away. What was with that lady yelling yellow for five minutes straight.

  12. Be quite honest, I kind of stopped paying attention to your channel when you were doing the short videos. But now I'm going to go back and watch all these long ones! The short ones just don't hold my attention long enough, I don't want to change videos every couple minutes. It's just my personal taste and opinion.

  13. This is an evil country. No different than China. I don't recommend anyone visiting.

  14. 1:35 Petaling Street years ago used to a "real" Chinatown in the sense that the people here – residents and workers – were Malaysian Chinese. Now only part of the residents are Chinese, the rest foreign migrant workers, while the vendors almost all are migrant workers from Bangladesh like the one here.

  15. He just bargain for 40 ringgit but paid 100ringgit.. now i remember why i subscribe to u luke.. Its been a long time since i wanted u to come to my home town.. hope u having a blast.
