This is how Japanese dry noodles are made in a factory in Japan. I’ll take you inside, Hakubaku, one of the most popular dry noodle producers in Japan, and give a full factory tour as well as a behind the scenes look from when the flour is delivered to the noodle factory all the way through to when the dry noodles are packaged and shipped for delivery. I even talk to some of the factory workers to see how they craft delicious noodles. I’ll also take you inside of their company office to show you how their research & development and engineer teams produce their amazing noodles. A complete guide on the noodle making process in Japan. Definitely a great showcase of how noodles are made in Japan.

  1. I love this guy and all, but man, his voice sounds like he's 12, starting to go through his first voice change, and he was at a concert the night before so he has a slight case of acute laryngitis.

  2. Dude, you are very interesting to listen to. Your voice is soft and soothing to listen to. I've been doing research online and played random videos to help me concentrate. I happened to stumble upon your videos after listening to a couple of mythbusters videos and I haven't stopped after a few hours of watching/listening. I've literally been watching these all night and it's the morning already. The information you are supplying is fascinating to say the least and keeps me going back to see the different things in each video that you show. I can't stop watching your videos and hope that you keep the content coming.

  3. Wow. Japanese noodles are not fried to make it dry……
Please start a factory in India too so that we can get some healthy noodles😀

  4. Sir Really Every. Food priduct of Japan can be marketted in South India very easily if the company shows this type vedio to customers.Because all are neat clean and genuine.I pray for Japan people that everbody should get such jobs

  5. This comment is coming from Fargo, North Dakota, USA. Paolo, I like all your videos but I really liked this one for some reason. I can't believe all he machinery needed to make noodles. I'm glad there are people smarter than me to figure out all this stuff. Keep up the great videos! I'm 65 and I've had the disease Multiple Sclerosis (MS) since I was 20 years old. You should make a video on MS. In case your interested the fourth nationwide survey of multiple sclerosis (MS) disclosed that the estimated number of MS patients in Japan was 9,900, and the estimated prevalence rate of MS is 7.7 per 100,000, indicating that the number of MS patients has been rapidly increasing for the past 30 years.

  6. How fun to see this process, thank you. Japanese noodles are the best, I'll be checking out the link. 👍

  7. The real strength of Japanese companies is their philosophy of "profit and quality," unlike American company's philosophy of "profit at bare minimum quality."

  8. These product are available in Asian stores all the way on the southern tip of Africa D:
as a ramen nerd i only use these noodles when im lazy thou. I have about 2kg of dried noodles in my pantry at all times xD. 20cm is a bit short to do a nice noodle fold for ramen though… and freshnoodle > dried noodle. So I normaly make ramen noodle myself.
but in a pinch or when you are lazy but still need your ramen fix. these noodles are perfect.

But it was very interesting to see noodles made in a factory on that scale
