忠元公園（ただもとこうえん）は、鹿児島県北部の伊佐市にある都市公園で、桜の名所として知られており、「日本さくら名所100選」に選定されています。

公園の中央にあるグランドを桜並木が囲んでおり、長さは2km、約1,000本の桜が植えられています。
また桜の見頃になると千数百個の提灯が燈り、幻想的な夜桜の観賞も楽しめます

忠元の名は、武将であった新納武蔵守忠元に由来し、公園内には、その忠元を祀る忠元神社もあります。
2列の並木が芝生の上に「桜のトンネル」を作り、その下を歩きながら一周できます

Tadamoto Park is located in the northern part of Kagoshima Prefecture and has been selected as one of Japan’s top 100 cherry blossom sites.
In the center of the park, a row of cherry blossom trees surrounds the ground, which is 2 km long and has about 1,000 cherry trees.
When the cherry blossoms are at their peak, more than 1,000 lanterns are lit, making for a fantastic nighttime view of the cherry blossoms.

Tadamoto’s name is derived from the warlord Tadamoto Shino Musashi, and there is also Tadamoto Shrine in the park, which is dedicated to him.
Two rows of trees make a “cherry blossom tunnel” on the lawn, and you can walk underneath the tunnel as you go around the park.
