    Yes, tastes can change as one gets older. I didn't like cilantro when I was younger, but a banh mi sandwich suits me very well now that I'm older.

    Its a pity the shin ramyum export version's noodle has dropped drastically in quality… I now eat the ottogi brand because the quality still holds up.

    I’ve been to the Asiana lounge before but it was very late at night (and during the pandemic), so it’s nice to see that the food is better during the day. Also I agree with you that ramen is the thing I look forward to in business class. I wish it was available on every airline.

    I don't like celery either.
    My kids think it's the only food that I don't eat so I can totally feel Claire on that one 😂

    I think I will always be too cheap to but business class tickets. I'm even shocked about how normal class ticket fares have increased since the pandemic… 😢

    I find it strange that any type of alcohol would be served on a flight. Alcohol actually dehydrates the body, which is worse when you’re on a plane. Then again, it’s a sign of privilege to have champagne, I suppose.

    I accidentally got sent some 진 라면 cup noodles by Amazon that I can’t return. If Clair likes them then I’ll try them. It even says Jin in English!

    I’ve heard studies show many flavors/tastes/textures are subdued when flying. Like crunch sound covered by engine noise and then more than you’d expect dull it’s feel also.

    Ironically umami is boosted, I’ve heard airline Bloody Mary are some of the best next time you are thirsty. 😉

    Sometimes you just gotta splurge and treat yourself x) but ramen in the air just hits different, especially when it's late at night. I did the same on my flight to Korea haha, but I flew with Korean Air. I really want to fly with Asiana next time!
