Fujinomiya city, mt. Fuji views and yakisoba – walk and promotion・4K HDR

I walked around Fujinomiya City in Shizuoka Prefecture, which is known for one of the routes to Mount Fuji, Shiraito Waterfall, and yakisoba. During my walk, I passed Omiya-yokocho where I found several shops selling yakisoba so I tried all of them a bit. Then I visited Mt. Fuji World Heritage Centre with funny projections and Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine. The video has quite a lot of cuts because I had to ask for a filming permit.

I was planning to visit the city last year, but because of rainy weather, I decided to go home after walking in Fuji City. This time, I was proposed to film Fujinomiya and get paid. It’s not like I’ve never gotten any proposals before; I had tens of them, but it was the first ever more or less matching my video style, so I decided to try. I’m not sure who paid for what, but the taxi was included. I also had to show yakisoba and Heritage Centre. But other than the taxi, none of them looked involved in any way, as I had to ask for a filming permit each time.

    The shrine at Fujinomiya, one of my favourite places. I was there in spring one year, with the sakura falling like snow. The city is hardly beautiful but the shrine and Fuji make up for it. I came through on a bicycle tour, and the ride from here, partway up the mountain, and down to Kawaguchiko on the other side is perhaps the most perfect day of cycling I've ever had.
