Shinjuku is one of the most exciting neighborhoods of Tokyo. In fact, there is so much to do, you can literally spend an entire day in this one area. I’ll be taking you around some of my favorite places in Shinjuku.

I canโt wait to visit Tokyo in January! Itโll be my first time visiting japan, and being outside of the USA at all. Iโd like to take a walk up mount Takao as well if I find the path to the mountain understandable. Thanks for the videos as usual
What a fun neighborhood! How blessed to know a trainspotter. That has to be helpful.
Shinichi, thanks for taking us along on your afternoon walk!
A very nice walk. I think it was cool That you and Satoshi have the same Perfect spot to sit relax, and watch Trains in Tokyo ๐๐ป
Thanks Shinichi, Shinjuku confuses me so avoid as get disoriented&evenTokyo station too big. Pizza Bar on 38th meant to have great pizza in Tokyo&tried Guzman&Gomez in Harajuku from Oz just to compare. I saw EggSlut in LA&I hope to return in the future to Japan as liked Sapporo Thanks for the tour of your backyard Shinichi,it is always great to explore
What a wonderful tour! I can't wait for part 2. I will likely never get to travel to Japan but at least I can experience it some through your videos. Thank you for the cookbook recommendations, I'd love to learn more about authentic Japanese food. Are there any other coolbooks you would recommend? I am in Indiana , USA. I love to cook and think it's such a wonderful way to learn about others, and to show care and love.
Thanks for all the hard work you put into these videos! Be well.
This is great, more in this format please ๐ค๐
My daughter in law makes some lovely hand poured candles! I have them all over my house!
Canโt wait to watch this in the hotel tonight when we finish our road trip!
Canโt wait to explore these streets and shops again very soon!!
I am a dishware freak.๐ You and I would have so much fun browsing pottery studios/stores throughout Japan. I really loved the lotus root plate in Nitori. If I were still throwing, I'd "borrow" the design. ๐ I adore your "hidden gems" videos, Shinichi. There is always so much to see and learn. My personal favorites are the tucked away parks, shrines/temples, and mom & pop stores and restaurants. Thank you for all you (and Satoshi) do! ๐๐
The Tim Ho Wan doesn't have a Michelin star. The one in Hong Kong does.
Wonderfully informative video as always, Shinichi-San. Thanks for uploading.
the idea of parks even being able to be closed is such a strange idea to me as an american… but i guess japan has a lot of stuff that's different
I like this format. Can't wait to see what other places you'll highlight! ๐
Your japanese way of saying IKEA is pretty much spot on the swedish way.
Thanks for taking us on this walk enjoy it ๐โค๏ธ๐ฅฐ๐๐คฉ๐๐๐น

See u again in April Shinjuku!!!!! ๐๐ป
Thank you for this walking tour along Shinjuku. We will be travelling to Japan mid November and your video will be a great help for me as I will be alone most of the time on our trip as my daughter will be travelling to Shizuoka to watch the NEWS concert. So excited to visit Japan once more.
Last time I went past that Shake Shack there was a line out the door ๐ฎ
