This is one of my favorite places in Japan! Today, we will walking along the borders of the amazing lake Ashi (also called Ashinoko) in Hakone.
We will start our walk in a cedar forest until we start to see few boats floating on the lake. After few minutes of walking, we will finally be able to see the sacred mountain Mt Fuji! We will continue our walk until we reach Moto Hakone station where we can see a “pirate” ship and a massive red torii gate.
This place is so peaceful and I really enjoyed walking here to relax my body and mind. If you have the opportunity to visit Japan, make sure you don’t miss Hakone and lake Ashi!

Lake Ashi is amazing! I was surprised to see so many boats with no one on them. The water is so clear! The view of Mt Fuji is awesome and I love seeing the Torii Gate in the distance, across the lake π Thank you for the calming nature walk and spectacular views! L5 ππ―π΅β€οΈπβ©π
