Hidden deep in the mountainside of Niigata, there is a hotel called “Satoyama Juto”. There, every dish is closely connected to the land, especially the dishes made from Koshihikari rice, which attract many rice lovers to come and taste it. The Satoyama Jujo building bears traces of 150 years of history. Although once forgotten by time, it has now been reborn under new owners. The perfect combination of old farmhouses and Nordic-style furniture creates an elegant yet warm atmosphere.
