Experience a unique adventure as we explore the luxurious Cordella cruise ship, a floating Taj hotel on the pristine waters. Join me on my first visit to this magnificent vessel, departing from Cochin International Port. Let’s step aboard and discover the grandeur of this remarkable cruise ship.

As I entered, I marveled at the lifeboats, ever-ready to ensure passenger safety in case of emergencies. The Cordella cruise ship boasts 10 floors, complete with elevators and staircases for easy navigation. My assigned room, 4119, felt like a five-star hotel, with its exquisite furnishings and luxurious ambiance. However, I encountered a slight hiccup when the door refused to open. Thankfully, with the assistance of a helpful cleaner, the issue was swiftly resolved.

On the 10th deck, a vibrant swimming pool welcomed families and children, creating a joyful atmosphere filled with laughter and splashing. The ship embarked on its voyage, traversing enchanting destinations such as Goa, Cochin, and Lakshadweep, offering passengers an unforgettable holiday experience. The Cordella cruise ship, originating from Malta, proudly displayed its flag atop the vessel, symbolizing its international voyage.

During my journey, I had the pleasure of meeting fellow Kannadigas, adding a sense of camaraderie to the trip. Everyone aboard the ship was immersed in the joy and excitement of the voyage. As the ship set sail, I had the opportunity to observe the ship’s captain and the intricacies of the small compartment from where they expertly navigate through the waters.

Opting for the standard package, I found my accommodation to be comfortable and well-equipped with all the amenities required for a pleasant stay. Safety measures for passengers were diligently enforced, ensuring peace of mind throughout the journey. The standard package featured two beds, and the trip was priced at Rs. 34,000 per person, making it an accessible option for travelers. Families could also join the adventure, with packages available for four members at a discounted rate of 1 lakh.

An intriguing highlight of the journey was the Morque Theatre on the ship, featuring a captivating drama called “Balle Balle.” The performance left me mesmerized, and the lively atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment of the cruise. Along the way, I had the pleasure of meeting renowned Kannada actor and anchor, Niranjan. We shared a cup of coffee and exchanged stories of our travel experiences. He even spoke highly of my work, which was truly humbling.

As we explored the casino area, I observed the excitement of computer games and casino activities. While I refrained from indulging, the vibrant energy within the space was palpable. The night passed peacefully, and as morning greeted us, I relished the breathtaking views of the sea, accompanied by the invigorating ambiance of the ship’s gym, where many passengers engaged in their workout routines.

To refuel, I enjoyed delectable pastries and bakeries from the ship’s buffet system. The experience was delightful, offering a variety of culinary delights to suit every palate.
