   I live in CA, I was also shock to know that blacks only made 4% of the population. It seems a lot larger than that.

   I think this is almost an inevitable consequence if most of the immigrants that move to the US are non-European and tend to congregate in urban areas. You'll always find it to be majority white in suburbs or small towns, but the metropolitan cities tend to house the greatest numbers of ethnic minorities.

   Pretty sure there are way more Latinos in LA than Asians. Just my opinion from my observations. Is it just me or does US immigration need to put a cap on immigrants from Mexico? No hate to Mexicans..but damn…why hasn't the United States immigration let in the same number of Asians?! Everyone deserves a fair chance at immigration and Mexicans seem to be allowed unlimited immigration into the country compared to Asians. Like wtf! California is still pretty Asian but I think it is way more.Mexicam these days.

   I think republican conservatives think of California as this foreign country that is full of immigrants nuts fruits to be despised. Especially SanFrancisco where I live. To wit Diane Feinstein Nancy Pelosi were are accused of having the much dreaded San Francisco “values” lol.

   I love the food in California. I visited there to check it out years ago due to possible job prospects to see what it was like. I took a gander there during my leave time back in 2013 and thought I can live there. I probably would be living in LA County if I didn't get picked up for my current gig in Asia.

   tbh considering california was a part of mexico it really shouldn't be a surprise the biggest group there is mexicans. definitely for the better too, i live in san jose and idk how i would get by without taco trucks and pho restaraunts

   It's because white women expire at age 33. They look 60 at 33. Most of then only date white guys 6 ft. & have hit the wall with no husbands.

   It’s weird we’re calling Latino as non white. Like majority of those Latinos are mestizo or straight up white who tend to have very Eurocentric/western views. But they don’t practice the “right” white culture “Anglo”. Until the 2nd and or third generation. Like I see “Latinos” fighting other “Latinos” in California and others parts of the country. Especially if it’s an indigenous or black Latino trying to bring awareness to discrimination they face by other Latinos who are mestizo or white. And Mestizo/white Latinos doing their best to shut anything negative against latinidad. As latinidad is basically beneficial for them only.

    Honestly as a black person, I hope all or most of black people move from Cali. And I'm native to California, it's not a good place for black people.

    Yeah definitely, you see Spanish here everywhere and also many malls here you'll see many Asians stores that you'd find overseas in China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand l, etc.

    You forgot to mention that California used to be Mexico. I live and grew up in Los Angeles in Venice. Born in the 70s. And every school I've ever attended was around 60% Latino, 20% black, 10% white, 20% Asian and East Asian. My experience may be different from other parts of California. But I haven't noticed a lot of change in demographics. What I have noticed is that most of my friends children are mixed ethnicities. This could have to do with changing demographics. And also many of my Mexican and Salvadoran friends have received citizenship and are now voters. I love the diverse culture! And food! Even though I'm white, it's kind of scary visiting towns that are all white with no diversity. One other thing… so funny that you thought that most white/European people don't know their heritage. Most of my friends do. Also, a lot of my "white" friends are Jewish and Jewish mixed. That didn't show up on the chart. My heritage is mostly french, I have several french grandparents, about a quarter polish/ukrainian jewish, then I have english with a smidge of greek, I loved asking my parents about our lineage and tracing the history. One other thing, my brother's daughters are half thai. I've heard that Los Angeles has the largest Thai population outside of Thailand. I love your show. I have been watching since SF. You guys introduced me to tako yaki, which is one of my faves! Love your show so much that the YouTube algorithm thinks I might be Asian. 😂

    i know some whites are so worried that soon they will be over run by this brown and yellow peril losing white culture and identity. I say great as long as we all follow the constitution of the United States and enjoy its freedoms for all. My grandparents came to this country from Europe trying to escape persecution probably for the same reason that people Latin Americans are coming to this country. I think we should welcome them to this country much in the same way Vietnamese came escaping war and i think we should have let many more from that war we caused into this country.

    Immigration i think is a good thing. My grandfather through his adventures from Minnesota where my grandparents immigrated to found his way across the west to Arizona. There he married this beautiful señorita mexican girl which was a scandal that is another story. Anyway when we looked at her relatives we realized there was quite a lot of inter marriages between relatives to the point my Aunt said its a wonder we didnt have 6 fingers or toes on our hands and feet. Those little mexican villages out on the Sonoran desert didnt offer much opportunity for new DNA to come into the gene pool you understand. That is until my grandfather showed up. lol
