Video #34. Welcome to the latest video for my channel @KhonKaenDen. In this video, Beau and I hit upon a tranquil Japanese-style oasis known as THE WALL, right in the heart of bustling Khon Kaen City, Thailand. Here we show you around the place and settle on a lovely Japanese restaurant called Yakitori Restaurant, which makes tastes amazing. Join us for this unique location in Khon Kaen. Hope you enjoy.

I upload videos every two days (one day to record, one to edit), keeping you in touch with just about everything regarding my life in Khon Kaen and Isan (or Issarn) and Thailand life. I cover everything from budgets to speaking Thai and eating (and even making) local dishes to spending quality time with my wife, Beau. I am based in Khon Kaen in rural Thailand but will be travelling further afield and showing you more of Isan over the coming months.

Don’t forget, if you like my videos, hit the thumbs up, subscribe and comment… and join me on my Isan adventures.

  1. this actually looks like a genuine kushiyaki/yakitori restaurant, this is exactly how its served and the styling is on point. you're more likely to find a yakitori restaurant than a street vendor in japan. (Yakitori literally means grilled bird, but is used to describe kushiyaki which means grilled/skewered foods). great video den, this ones added to the list of places I can visit to get my fix.

  2. The more videos you make, the more I understand how much I have missed out on in Khon Kaen. But I guess that was the whole idea, making this channel.. This amazing place, The Wall, seems really worth a visit too, and I have made my mind up. I will spend a few days in Khon Kaen, looking up all these places. I guess I will need at least a week.. The variety of food is great to see, food is a huge part of our lives, isn`t it.. I think Thailand is food heaven, we got it all. From lots of European, Australian, Mexican etc. dishes at the tourist destinations, to Thai and Asian food everywhere, such as Chinese and Japanese dishes. If you go hungry in Thailand, you might check your pulse.. Thanks Den, another fun and great video 😊😊

  3. I’ll be at the Pullman in about 2 weeks, this is in walking distance and added to my to do list! It’s also not too far from The Gentle (speakeasy) to hit both on the same walkabout.
