In this Mazunte Oaxaca Mexico travel vlog we show you what to do in Mazunte. We take you on a walk to Playa Mazunte and through the town of Mazunte and then hop on the scooter and head to La Ventanilla where we take a boat ride through the lagoon and get close and personal with some crocodiles! After that we head back to Mazunte and hike Punta Cometa for the best sunset in Oaxaca! We love Mexico and Oaxaca in particular has some of Mexico’s best beaches. We hope you enjoy this Mexico travel vlog and keep an eye out for our Oaxacan coast series because we have a couple more videos coming your way from Zipolite and Huatulco! #mazunte #mazunteoaxaca #mexicotravel

  1. Hello guys, this video is a master piece of color, beautiful views, delicious food, amazing arquitecture, romantic moments (with Adam the kissing gun machine) and at the top of all, incredible hosters. Saludos desde la capirucha CDDX.

  2. Going to Huatulco this November and will definately check out Mazunte. You guys are so much fun to watch and offer great travel tips. You just got a new subscriber. Lot's of love from Germany.

  3. R.I.P. Mazunte..it's videos like these that will make this the new tulum. And the neo colonialism seeps it's way into the magic of this place . Thank u

  4. Your camerawork is superb, especially the drone shots which really encapsulate the topic you're talking about very well. I notice a lot of people think their drone is a work of art and spend too much time on it whereas how you're doing it, short clips, works much better. its like taking a step back from a scene to get perspective. When you walk you are capturing your surroundings so well too. Your descriptions of things are also top notch. They're cursory yet descriptive. The voiceovers work so well letting us focus on the video which your audio track enhances, just as voiceovers are supposed to work.

  5. The best way I've found to consume a young coconut is to use a large bowl. You hack off the top, about 3" wide, and pour the water into the bowl. Drink the water then scoop out the insides. No plastico needed. Just a bowl and a spoon which everyone has.

  6. The way you bypassed that accident with the bike sure makes ATV/car rentals look bad! But you really should be wearing helmets. Sure its hot but if you hit your head just slightly the results can be so catastrophic, not to mention surely the end of your travelling for a while. Another huge problem riding a bike in the tropics is most people ain't wearing much clothing that will protect them if they go down. Loosing fitting denim might be a good solution if its light colored to reflect the sun. Denim is surprisingly good with abrasion. Really tough natural fibre and it breathes being 100% cotton. If its baggy with vents it wouldn't be so bad.

  7. As a former 5 year full time resident of Mazunte ( from Canada 1999-2004) I will complement you on this video…a job well done as usual. Mazunte certainly has changed from when we were the only full time foreign couple! It was a great way to learn Spanish!

  8. Absolutely loving your series! Planning my first real trip to Mexico and so excited because of all of the amazing things that you guys have been doing. It’s opened up a whole New World and I am here for it!!

  9. Absolutely breathtaking! So thankful you're taking all these treks for me since I can't hike any more.

  10. After couple of days of warm chocolate to deal the mountain weather with, and just a few kilometers of curves you get to a tropical landscape, truly awesome.

  11. Hi Adam and Heidi , I see that you often rent a scooter, could you tell me around how much is it to rent a scooter in Oaxaca? We travel with our van but we would love to rent a bike because it looks so cool to go around your neighbourhood. I continue to watch your amazing travel blog, they really help me planning my winter …Thank!s

  12. If anyone else on here has already been to Mazunte, I am curious to hear if because of its wide appeal to foreign tourists visible in this video does that reflect in the prices to eat there too? I went to Tulum and it was a lot more expensive than other nearby places
