Welcome back to another episode guys!! In this video we swap our tiny home on wheels for a home that floats and sail the Whitsundays for 5 nights!!

Now this trip has been something we have wanted to do for so long and we can tell you that it was one of the most incredible and memorable trips we have ever done!!!
There is loads of information in this video about how we did it and everywhere we went. There is amazing scenery, adventure and a lot of relaxation. Strap yourselves in with a cold bevvy and we hope you enjoy this episode. We have a sneaking suspicion you just might start planning your own whitsunday adventure after watching this!!

Cheers Legends – Justin, Bec & the crew…..

It all started when…
In December 2015 we packed up and hit the road for what we thought would be a 12 month Lap of Oz. Fast forward 4 years and we decided to create a video series of our travels to show you all what it’s like to live life on the road!!

  1. πŸ˜‚Little Jack had us in stitches with his girlfriends mums sunnies, and the mix up! Chi chi.. classic! πŸ˜†πŸ˜‚

  2. Hi there, did you ever try hoisting those sails off camera, it’s a learnt skill and definitely a confidence sport, but once you’ve mastered it, you would love it! You had the perfect weather to put those sails up where you could of turned off the engines and eased your way along with building up your tolerance, and during your little rough passage to butterfly bay a little bit of head sail or main sale would have helped stability a little..good episode all round! The tiger shark that appeared, my husband said they are showing up as people anchor, ( becoming predatory) and you should wait a while before diving in for a swim, there were five attacks in three weeks in Sid harbour less than two years ago! Glad you enjoyed!

  3. Your constant smiles said it all thanks for sharing loving your adventures, but this one was special.

  4. just started following your channel love the catamaran good idea its – 47 dam cold here in saskatchewan Canada be nice to be there

  7. G'DAY Guys, clothesline idea is a great hint, have a great washing hint, that my parents,(Keith 82,mum,Estelle 76),have perfected in there many travels, including 2 circumnavigation of Australia, they have 2Γ—20ltr plastic buckets with lids, that they have in Hall of Van,one for wash cycle, one for rinse, they daily in morning, place previous day dirty change of clothes in wash bucket, then us movement of van while driving to wash, then at lunch, put into Prince cycle bucket, then hang overnight to dry at days end,a good option for single/couples,does require some hand squeezing ,DAD,uses the dirty/Grey water to spot clean, their 80series Land cruiser and Van at days end,to be prepared for next day tripping, expecting your new 200 series (the Lamborghini of 4WD's),Kindest Regards,Dave McLaughlin Queensland Australia

  8. Loved this episode. I've been on a bareboat holiday in the Whitsundays on a monohull with experienced sailors, but if I was to do it again with out them, I would definitely go for the catamaran option. It looks like you didn't use the sails at all after the initial lesson, is that the case?

  9. Awesome video guys. Did this same trip about 13 years ago on a 43 ft Catamaran with the family of 3 kids also. We went in January, so it was an absolute necessity for us all to have stinger suits on while swimming. Out of interest, what month were you there?
Keep the videos coming. Love watching them πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘

  13. You can see the happiness on everyone's face. If we can all live like this then it won't have low birth rate problem in Australia. Well done guys!

  14. Brilliant guys, I was fortunate enough to take my children there at the same ages, Shame that you didn't stop at Whitehaven beach and Hook island, epic, spin out seeing that Tiger shark in Cid Harbour after the recent fatal attacks

  15. How good is it!! Check out the one we did a couple of years ago on my channel. I've done this about 5 times now πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

  16. Hey guys, I felt like some ocean breeze so I re-watched this episode. You guys need to re-book and do this sojourn once EVERY year!!! I looked like so much fun the second time around and that it was SO GOOD for the kids. I don't know if you can remember your time doing this, but It was great to watch again…you should do it all again, just for those of us who live vicariously through you all!!!

  17. Hey guys, Great video I have booked a Lagoon 40 for 10 nights in December with my wife and two daughters, I was so encouraged to see that you caught that Spanish mackerel as that is one of my first boxes to tick off the checklist. I noticed that you didn't have the sails up much at all was that by choice or is motoring encouraged In the limited space between the islands?

  18. FANtastic, great to watch U all have FUN!! Enjoyed your experience! We have stayed at Airlie Beach caravanning and day trip to Hamilton – absolutely beautiful!!

  20. Your got rocks in your head to swap caravan for a boat, but I wish you all the best

  21. Wow, what a wonderful trip. Was at the Whitsunday's in 2006 and enjoyed it so much. Lovely place, enjoyed Whitehaven Beach. Thanks for sharing

  22. The drone malfunction may have been a local yacht with anti drone tech which jams the drone to increase privacy for its guests πŸ˜‰

  23. Hi guys great video. What was your experience on boats before this trip. You have inspired me to take a week with my wife and do this trip. I've had fishing boats but never a sail boat. Also I would like to recommend my wife's book to you for your Kids, dallyanddash, an Australian educational book. Keep up the great videos, Brent
