Samyang F2.8/8mm: Extreme Wide-Angle Travel Lens for FujiFilm X-Mount – Unboxing & Mounting, in 4K

Unboxing and test-mounting my latest acquisition: An exotic fish-eye lens “Made in Korea” by Samyang, the “Samyang F2.8/8mm UMC Fish Eye II” for FujiFilm X-Mount.

2. Mounting lens on camera body of the FujiFilm X-T20
3. Demonstrating Aperture Ring and Shutter Clicks

No talking – just a simple unboxing, mounting and clicking sounds and written subtitle comments.

I intend to use this lens not only for its specific “fish-eye” effect, but also – with post-processing – as an “extreme” ultra-wide-angle lens. We will see how it works out as an “extreme” wide-angle lens. Since lenses on GoPros are already extremely wide, this should be a similar perspective – just with better image IQ.
