ABOUT US
Weโre the Lockwoods. And weโre traveling the world to experienceโup close and in personโall the natural wonders and distinct cultures that our kids would otherwise be consuming only through textbooks and TV. We think itโs a better way to learn and weโre working hard to fund this little experiment in the hope that our kids will grow up wiser, kinder, and more grateful for the beauty of our diverse planet and its people.

My favorite tour ever! Did this on April, it was cloudy but it was perfect! Glad the whole family was able to enjoy! I love watching all your videos! Itโs all so informative for those wanting to get an idea of what to do ๐ฅบ
Sorry I have to correct you about where the name El nido originated. Yes, it means "The Nest" but not referring to turtle nest. Instead, it is referring to the "Balinsasayaw" bird's nest which can be found on the cliffs of the limestone mountains surrounding El nido. The nests are harvested and turned into soup (Nido soup) which is a local delicacy. I'm not sure if harvesting the nest is still allowed because the Balinsasayaw birds are considered endangered.
Try scuba diving in Dauin. Check with Critter Republic, he is the owner of that resort. Heโs also from US.
Wow, what do you use to create thumbnails? They are smooooooth โค

You should try going to north side of cebu. There are some adventurous activity you can do there.. like skydiving in bantayan island or go to a wildlife sanctuary at Cebu safari park or wakeboarding in danasan eco adventure park or to papa kits for their famous catch and cook seafoods and some new activities there.

The behind the scene thing is a good idea. You should do more of it. So viewers would tend to watch till the end๐๐
4 years ago, I had the chance to do that zip line. I didn't since my family askee ke not to due to my age lol. That zip line goes above our accommodations roof in El Nido at Vanilla Beach if I remember. At the time all I can do was watch amazingly people going over my head over the water and into the island.
Appreciate all the trivia! Gosh Iโm learning a lot from your vlogs. โค
