For our new Tour Experience DVD, we filmed and interviewed travelers—and their guides—on an actual tour. No actors, no script, no kidding! Rick Steves European Tours: http://www.ricksteves.com/tours

Our tour experience videos were filmed during a Best of Europe in 14 Days tour, capturing candid comments from real tour members and tour guides. No actors, no script, no kidding! Watch the full experience at https://youtu.be/UkDOQ5c1axc

  1. Just finished a Rick Steves tour of Ireland. It was outstanding! Stephen McPhilemy was our guide, and he is brilliant in that role. Smart, funny, cool, and exceptionally-knowledgeable. Having toured Europe and Asia on my own, I was somewhat skeptical about joining a tour, but I'll definitely try additional Rick Steves tours in the future!

  2. Didn't these tours used to have the tagline "NO GRUMPS"?  Why was there such a tagline?  Do grumpy people like to take tours, too?

  3. Rome Venice tour from Los Angeles, including airfaire, & hotel, I would love that for 2 persons.

  4. Hi Rick Sir ji, I am from India , I am big big fan of you, you are such a great i love your all videos, wish you a happy and healthy life sir ji.

  5. Wow, that green pizzeria behind him in the very beginning of the video…looks very much like the one I walked by when I was there. A group of Poles started singing "Sto lat" (happy birthday) as our group was walking by. I was able to sing along since I've studied some Polish. My friends were pretty surprised.

  6. Gosh. How do folks bring just 1 piece of luggage and a small backpack when on a 13-15 day trip?
Won't you want to buy goods (snack foods, candy, some souvenirs, books sold at museums etc) from each place/country visited to bring home? Not to mention to keep camera and equipment?

I arrive in a place with 2 pieces of luggage almost half empty and, leave with both full. Visit supermarkets/mini-grocers/markets and you are bound to find tasty or 'mysterious' foods that you would want to slowly taste (or eat some more) when back home.

Yes. I'd rather lug around 2 fairly heavy bags filled with goodies, than not buying stuff and regretting it after the trip… 🙂

  7. Dear Rick greetings from India. I also work as a Tour Guide. Please make a series In India too and Bring tourists In India also wish to work with you together 😊🙏🏻

  8. i remember rick steves when he was thin, young and nimble. on one trip, he taught people how to wash their underwear in the hote's sink and let dry overnight for the next day's use in order to travel light! TOTALLY FAB. oh how time flies and we all change

  9. Must be nice to have 5 grand to spend on a guided tour. I mean, I would do it if I had it, dont get me wrong, but for now, until I'm older, I'll stick with solo/budget traveling. Can still have just a good time, but I love Rick Steve's content. I wish there were more on Youtube

  10. Our European Rick Steve's tours were THE BEST! Our guides were THE BEST! We all loved every minute, were richly rewarded, had great tour mates, learned so much about how to be a smart, good, kind, respectful tourist and did NOT want to leave everyone; we cried at the end because we were now a family of good friends. We did and saw things you'd never be able to unless you lived there for 30 years and travelled everywhere. You all sign a NO GROUCH clause and it works. Our guides and drivers were brilliant, skilled and hilarious. What a blast! Thanks Rick! Thanks Martin, Roy and Esther! We love you! Bon Voyage! Ciao!

  11. This is a great advert for your tours, as it gives a good sense of what people can expect.

  12. The perfect tour package for rich upper class ethnocentric white Americans who only want to be with other white Americans.

  13. Fly in a few days before a tour to get over jetlag and stay on a few days after.
