The second part of my weekend getaway in Nagoya continues with a visit to Nagoya Castle, where we enjoyed a samurai performance and explored the fortress. Although we couldn’t peek inside the castle’s living quarters, the overall experience was pretty awesome. It was fascinating to observe the striking similarities between Nagoya Castle and Ungcheonwaesung, both constructed by the same Japanese general in the 1590s. Before making our journey home, we had the opportunity to try out the miso katsu-don at the renowned Misokatsu Yabaton restaurant.
