    I love to guess where people are from. I only viewed the first 18 seconds of the video and I guess you guys are from Canada?? 5:38 Are you propping the camera on a tripod or anywhere you find something to prop on? 8:19 Hmmm. I don't think crossing your legs would be an issue but spreading your legs wide and unfolding the newspaper wide open would be an issue. How many times did you crossed the cross walk for photos?

    In Tokyo I avoid Shibuya and Shinjuku and go to Yanaka Ginza and Monzen Nakacho …. they have much more character and few to zero foreign tourists … the cemetery next to Yanaka Ginza is the largest in Tokyo and some incredible historical figures buried there …

    日本人が食事をする前に両手を合わせていただきますと言う意味。

    「いただきます」は、敬意を表す動作から生まれた言葉です。現在ではその敬意は、肉や魚、卵はもちろん、野菜や果物も含めて、食材の「命」そのものに向けた言葉と捉え直されています。また、食材を育てたり獲ったりした人や、食事を作った人に対する敬意と感謝の気持ちを込めた言葉とされています。

    手を合わせて食事を前に頭を下げる動作も、「頭上に戴く」動作が語源にあると思えば、自然なことかもしれません。語源を知って、食材の「命」を自分の「命」にすることへの感謝、そして、食材に携わるすべての人への敬意をもって「いただきます」という言葉を使っています。

    I have always thought Japan would be very different and extremely complicated for people around the world, therefore would not attract them to visit here. Now I am finding myself I was wrong. I am seeing people from America, Europe, Asia and all over the world which is quite amazing to me. I quess all Japanese wishes visitors here to have wonderful time and willing to do even small things for you guys whenever given the opportunites. Welcome to Japan and have a wonderful time.

    Always love Japan and happy that you both are finally there!
    I saw that you both are using the 1 time train ticket. Actually it will be really convenient if you purchase the Suica or Pasmo card from the ticket machine and insert the amount of money into the card. That way you can tap your card away on all those train and metro gantry like a local. Just use the one that has the big IC alphabets.
    That card can also use for all the vending machines, convenient stores and purchasing products. Super convenient and widely used in the whole Japan! Just look for IC and you can pay with this card! 😊

Wondering how everyone treated Note, only asking because tattoos are not very accepted there and some spas don’t even allow entrance without exceptions. I think is so adorable how much you guys find pure enjoyment in everything you guys see…love it.
