  1. Those drone shows have a failure rate when your dealing with 5000+ drones. Every night one or two WILL fall down, so they need to close off the area directly below the show. I know the fireworks do the same thing, but they need to recover these drones. So if it falls on a roof, and the battery goes up, well we know what happens. So it needs to be over an open area like a parking lot or lake. Not all the parks will have a suitable location for it.

  2. Most of the theming updates done to epcot from around 2000 onward were pretty bad. I hope they go as far as redoing the interior back to its original red scheme.

  3. I wonder if a drone show would do well in animal kingdom since there would be no loud noises to bother the animals.

  4. Pre-Nemo Living Seas cast member here. I was not thrilled that they overlaid the Living Seas with Nemo or anything for that matter. It certainly needed an update of some kind, but it didn't need to be completely rethemed. Also don't get me wrong, I love Nemo and I hate the fact that I ended up loving the seagulls and I am sad to see them go. However I cannot say the same about the overly cartoony addition to the entrance mural or the sign to the Pavilion itself. Think they could have left all of it as is, just plopping the seagulls on top and I think that would have told you everything needed to know. In Epcot, the characters always visited our world, but with Disney hosing down everything with intellectual properties it's more like we are now visiting the characters world. As far as Epcot goes that never really set well with me.

  5. I’m kinda wishing Disney would embrace its park history and not it’s IP… Disney entertainment and Disney parks are two different entities

  6. The fact Disney world is not using drones is amazingly dumb… we all stand here and complain about taco barges. But imagine if Disney did the first 3-D drone shiw where anywhere you watched in Epcot world showcase you’d have a view. Yes it be difficult but we’ll worth a trip to go see it. I do miss the TV globe 🙁

  7. Glad to see the restored color scheme. It was starting to look a little sad in that blue color. Kinda hoping Nemo stays — I think it fits well in there. On the fence as to if it really needs Nemo and Friends on the outside signage to pull the people in.

  8. Tom what I want to know is why aren't you talking about the fact that Disney doesn't have any great night time parades. They are just sitting on paint the night and the electrical parade and aren't doing a thing with Either one of them! Please address this in a future video because I feel that Disney listens to you and your channel! Thank you🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😂🎉😂🎉🎉🎉

  9. I do somewhat agree that the seagulls aren't the most EPCOT for the seas pavilion. But I hope they get put somewhere else. I hate to see any animatronics go, and those have always gotten a smile out of me.

  10. While it'd be great to go back to the classic Living Seas, I have a feeling the ride will be converted to The Little Mermaid. Its a much more popular IP and the re-theme could be done on the ultra cheap.

  11. Has someone shown the construction crew at Disney what universal is doing?

  12. They could have done so much with innoventions. Disney's laziness and now cheapness has ruined so much. But i don't think that Universal minds this.

  13. 1:35 You know, it’d probably be a bad idea BUT, they could just make it so you can only use the wifi if you’re paying for Genie+ and that’d fix the problem.

  14. I don't know about Florida, but on the note of the drone shows, Universal Hollywood has already dipped their toes into it with the Dark Arts at Hogwarts projection show. There is a small drone element in it. Personally, I do not want a drone show to come to the United States Disney parks as a replacement to fireworks because I think they are inferior to fireworks. I think it would be cool if they had a drone show in Animal Kingdom or as part of World of Color – 2 parks that simply can't do fireworks – but I would never want them to replace fireworks shows, the way that projections have at Disneyland.

  16. Time to free Memo out because in 2 years, Ron DeSantis is going to crush everything of Walt Disney World and move them to North Carolina and turn this into a bigger truck stop like you see in Iowa 80.

  17. Be gone Nemo! Bring back The Living Seas!!! End the Dumbing Down of EPCOT!

  18. The biggest problem with this whole World Nature "land" is pretty much the same issue this area of the park has had since inception. Where's The Land pavilion? You go over to Future World East/World Discovery and you can see all the pavilions. Stand in the right spot and you can even see Wonders of Life. Now that there's an actual theme to the west side, they need to lean into it. Give us a plaza where the entrances of The Land and The Seas face each other. In fact, give up on this whole Land travesty anyhow. You walk into that building and the first things you see are hot air balloons as you race over to the queue for a flying ride and then maybe grab a snack from SUNSHINE Seasons. Turn this into The Skies already! Update the ugly pavilion and add a climate change movie. Yeah, that probably won't go over well. A Northern Lights movie???

Then finally end our hatred of the Imagination pavilion and just turn it into the new Land pavilion. This pavilion is never going to work as its Disney's imagination being presented, not ours. (This is my problem with Disney and its OBSESSION with "imagination". That's NOT what imagination is!) All the Living with the Land stuff is on this side of the current pavilion, and behind it, so it would be super easy to just extend the "river" to a new station in a new building. Add in that Spider-Man ride since it will never make it here with Spider-Man actually in it. Have riders protect farms from plastics. Move It's Tough to Be a Bug into the theater. People still need to be traumatized by fake spiders! Better yet, just make it an infinite loop of Disney Nature movies. People need air-conditioning and/or naps! Okay, those are cheap things Disney would totally do. What Disney SHOULD do is a proper boat ride through the Rivers of the World. Put us on a river in each continent. Put us in the Amazon, on the Nile, in the Grand Canyon, on the Ganges, looking at castles along the Rhine…

I'm a bit of an Epcot purist as well. I want Future World to still be futuristic even if it's not in the name anymore. I also want my lands to be immersive. Journey of Water is a good start, now turn that attention to the two most-boring pavilions in the park AND the one that they keep screwing up. Move Figment over to World Discovery. Better yet, enough with Mickey here. This isn't his park. FIGMENT & FRIENDS! Figment is perfect for this park because it's not a Ride Our Movies park (yet). Figment isn't one of THEM. He's one of US. I'd put Figment in every country pavilion. Not in costume, which is culturally questionable, but in a souvenir tee-shirt from that country with a camera around his neck. Or maybe holding a souvenir Eiffel Tower. Or a bratwurst. He's a tourist too! (It's ironic how little imagination they have used when it comes to Figment.)

  19. I love Nemo ride and wanted see turtle crush. I thought was fun for kids. I love the aquarium. It's such relaxing area of the park.

  20. The blue really pops against the khaki; with the seagulls gone, it would be cool to see the "waves" breaking over the rocks restored to their original volume. It does seem like there are a lot of callbacks to the original Epcot coming into play; it would be especially neat to see The Prologue and Promise somewhere in the new World Celebration.

  21. Journey of Water looks nothing like the rest of Epcot. It looks like something that belongs at The Animal Kingdom.

  22. We were at WDW last week and on Friday there was a a Genie+ outage at 7 AM. We were heading into EPCOT and it was stressful trying to get Guardians virtual queue reservations. It all came online closer to 8 AM.

  23. I hope they clean up the inside. When I was there this past December I thought the inside was dirty, you couldn’t see inside the large tanks and you couldn’t see anything in there the windows were foggy (to say it nicely), and they didn’t have many fish, the stingrays at the touch area. It was a major disappointment how they had let that go.
