Hotel prices have risen since borders have opened up to the world, especially in places like Kyoto. Tourists love this city and hotels are pricey.

This time I tried the Royal Park Hotel Sanjo in Kyoto. Prices were good and reviews weren’t bad either. Location was excellent and near two train stations. Also just a short walk to Kamo River and shopping streets.

  1. Bit of a hike. But you are pretty central still to the kiyomizu dera and Nishiki Market and many other cool places. Lovely city. Take the train to Lake Biwa and have the fermented sushi 😝

  2. Thanks for the room tour Shinichi. I personally like a small hotel room instead of say a suite. If I'm on vacation somewhere I'm usually sightseeing and doing things outside the hotel, to me a hotel room is for sleep. So I don't need any extra room. That size of room would be perfect for me and like you said it's basic but you have everything you need. Take care and safe travels.😊

  3. I stayed at the Richmond hotel a few blocks from the station. Same price and also very nice!

  4. My goodness, the room is well thought out! Everything you need if you just turned up out of the blue – even pyjamas. Bland corporate decor but hey, you're either working or visiting the city. Great review!❤

  5. I’m not a fan of wearing pajamas that have been worn by other people I think I’d rather bring my own pajamas from home. This room looks pretty nice especially for the price😯

  6. Interesting. I also like the cute little wall decor over the bed. Its nice that the hotel provided you with pajamas too, though because of where I was raised I likely would just use my own. The view is the only downer for me, honestly, but I suppose that's a big city for you. : ) Also now I'm hungry for steak. 😆
Thanks for the tour! Safe travels!

  7. "I Will Always Travel for Food". No food in the video. Minor detail. That's like having a channel named "I Will Always Travel for Hotels"…and then only showing food.

  8. The hotel is perfect, it has water, my favourite drink, for free 😄 (who cares about coffee and tea when the best is free lol)

  9. Thanks for sharing this video Can't wait to see Kyoto's abventure you going to take us on take care 😘❤️🥰🤩😍🌈💯🙏🌹

  10. A nice Hotel, very modern and everthing you need to a really good price ~70€ is really good. I was recently in Vienna payed a similar price per day and had a really outdated Hotel.

  11. I'm astonished by how clean and lovely the subway is in Kyoto. In the United States, most subways are dirty, smelly and often dangerous – but it depends on where the subway is, of course. Kyoto subway looks so safe and clean.
