One of the most incredible drives you can do in the world is the Big Sur portion of California’s Pacific Coast Highway. With its breathtaking views of the coast, looming cliffs, and incredible waterfalls, we knew we had to make this drive before we left California. But with recent storms producing rock slides and road closures, we didn’t know if we’d even be able to see Big Sur. Follow along as we jump on this famous section of Route 1, pull off at a few gorgeous sights, and find out if we’ll actually reach our most anticipated landmark on the PCH…or if the road closures will stop us for good.

Love you guys! Jen this was the best edited vlog ever!
Love all your personalities! Always so sincere and fun loving. Looks like a great road trip.
🎉hey guys..Jim & Mary from Spain. Love the video…def have to put that area on our list when we start our journeys soon. Hope you all are doing well. See you soon.
Always enjoy your videos! Love that you guys share your adventures with us. Question? Are Jenn and Matt related? Look like they could be brother and sister.
That was really cool. Jen, the bridge view was pretty nice. And the surprise of Matt showing up was a bonus. I have a cousin who's boyfriend (actually a grown, mature man, but I don't have another word right now), lives in the Big Sur area. They post hiking pictures on Facebook.
Unfortunately there is no way to ride a train from Canada or the lower 48 to Alaska. The Alaska Railroad is completely landlocked within the state. There is talk about connecting Alaska to the national rail network but it would be a massive undertaking.
This was a great video
Big Sur is one of my favorite places to drive in the U.S. Last time I was there, parts were closed due to mudslides. Also, it was quite foggy. The nearby 17-mile Drive thru Carmel is also awesome.
Hope you got to look around Monterey, Carmel and Pacific Grove. Monterey is my home town, spring and fall are the best times summer is foggy every day.
Oh, my gosh!! You three are SO fun to watch when you're together! What a great tour, as well!!!
That was really cool drone work of the Bridge 👍
Sam Walton and his daughter owns most of Big Sur… Carmel beach is the best.. Pebble beach is beautiful also. Lived there force months…. Loved it
Please stop the dog voice. We have watched you literally since the inception of your channel but I turn it off immediately with the dog voice. I just can’t handle it
👍🤘😝🎃
I wanna drive this hwy next year or sooner, in a dually truck camper, used to tight windy roads, its called driving to BC lol. Im 12 ft high, any warnings? 🍻
EXCELLENT Editing
It’s so good to see you guys doing videos again! This was so awesome! Hello Matt lol ❤❤❤
We live fairly close to that area. It’s such a pretty area. Wish that we could’ve met up while you were out here.
I have driven the PCH many times from Long Beach to SF and beyond. Big Sur is the only place I experience motion sickness while I'm driving. As far as the fog, living in CA for 28yrs taught me the coast is only clear from about 11am to 3pm most days.
Also, would you consider featuring places that are believed to be haunted? You could call it 'Will & Jen's Paranormal Pitstop'. Seriously though, a lot of people are interested in such places and don't have the means to visit them. Besides being fun It would be another facet to traveling the country and pointing out some of the paths less traveled. Love your channel and happy trails!
p.s. Matt's a lovable dork. Art Deco rules.
Hey Jen, can you please ive the music credit. Very mellow soothing sounds..
Northern Cclifornia is my home area. Quite a bit north of big sur
Great video! I live watching you three Matt and Wil and you Jen are so funny together. Love your Tucker voices. See you all soon!
so glad you posted the correction. I was screaming at the screen- " That is not Bixby Bridge".
Why does Jen remind me of Angela White ?
LOL, what’s the the big deal, I’ve driven 600 miles to Elko, Nevada just to eat lamb chops at the Star.😉
Good tips about driving the PCH. We thought your hitchhiker looked familiar… hi Matt.
