  1. Honestly for the amount they charge a night, I’d rather stay at the standard Disneyland hotel room. Looks better and feels more magical. These villas are so contemporary that it doesn’t feel magical. Really wish they would bring some Tokyo Disney hotel magic to the states.

  2. I love all the Sleeping Beauty elements. As always with the new standard of Disney rooms, I wish there was more theming.

  3. There’s also an added tourist tax that must be paid before you check out and it’s based on your point use so roughly $400-700 a stay

  4. Great looking room! Such an odd placement for the kitchenette and closet, especially when the murphy bed is down. I always use both when someone is sleeping in the murphy bed, so that is not optimal…

  5. At a quick glance, the surfaces and finishes look inexpensive, there appears to be no cooktop or dishwasher, or even a place for meal prep and cleanup. And no table to eat/work at. This barely says Disney or luxury.

  6. Somethings I like more than the standard Disneyland Hotel room, but the headboard is a total downgrade.

  7. The room itself is nice as is the decor. but as someone else said it is an odd placement for the kitchenette. But the big downfall for this new DVC tower is the view. If your room is on the street side (as this one was) , even if you are facing the pool that is also on the street side, your view is of a a low-income neighborhood. Consider that if you ever book a room here.
For the money, stay at a DVC room at the Grand Californian – you’ll get a much better view most likely into DCA.

  8. I bet the views are great on the OTHER side. They need to plant larger trees AT LEAST on the perimeter. I would only have built rooms with a view WORTHY of the Walt Disney brand.

  9. As a fan of Sleeping Beauty and Disney history, I like the fusion of the movie and mid-century design. Not that I'll ever be able to stay in one of these 😆 Also, that is a glorious shirt!

  10. Seems so sterile. Not a fan of the generic “Disney” theming – why not Disneyland specific like the rest of the resort? Looks like if IKEA and Disney had a kid.

  11. Looks just so cold and heartless, no warmth, and honestly looks cheap, what happened to real furniture, not particle board and plastic. 😢 so unfortunate

  12. I tried to request a standard villa with a bathtub and was told all rooms have a walk in shower. Too bad I can’t send this to them.
