Located around an hours train ride from Tokyo is Mt Takao. This 599m high mountain is a popular hiking spot. This is my 3rd time here and this time I went as I wanted to see Mt Fuji as it was a clear day.
It takes just over an hour to reach the top and there are several hiking ways up. The one I go in this video I’ve found to be the best. You can also get a cable car to near the top if you find walking difficult.
