As a female, I love the idea of a women’s only section in the train
1. Suica card π§: A tap & go rechargeable fare card used in most public transport in Japan (Buses and local trains) π What I love about the suica is that you can also use it as a payment card in convenience stores, vending machines, coin lockers and even at selected restaurants! If you donβt want a physical card, you can also get a suica via iPhone or Android π±
2. Womenβs Only passenger train car ππ»ββοΈ: As a female, this brings me comfort knowing that I can have a safe train ride even at peak rush hours. From what I read, note that “Women’s Only Car” only runs during rush hours, generally the first train of the day until 9:30am on weekdays!
3. Cash is KING π: Always have cash with you! I tried to use my credit card as much as can during my trip in Japan but about 85% of my transactions were cash!

awww very nice video, and some handy tips i'll be sure to remember
Also there are virtually no public garbage cans so bring a small bag on journeys
If youβre traveling outside of Tokyo, buy a JR pass. Saves a ton of money.
very useful tips.
now i heard that JAPAN is also going to use UPI and they will hopefully lower the need to use hard cash.
UPI surely has been a huge blessing to Indians.
I'd like to add that the Women Only rule usually only applies to morning rush hour trains going into the city. And even during this time, all kids under 12 and people with disabilities and their male caretakers are allowed to use the cars freely.
Nice tips
Exchange 30 000-60 000 yen before you get there at your bank and you should be good for most of the trip depending on your expenses
Can you buy Suica cards from most stations?
π₯° japan… its so beautiful
Also recommend getting Japanese SIM for internet at the airport. Best way to navigate, translate and communicate with your phone.
No more Suica card in Japan⦠sorry.
