The bus operates from Kawaguchiko Sta. traveling around not only Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Saiko, but also sightseeing facilities such as Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, Kawaguchiko Sightseeing Boat βEnsoleilleβ, Kawaguchiko Music Forest Museum, Kawaguchiko Museum of Art, Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba, etc.
You can also get a coupon that allows you to ride as many times as you want in two days.

When you pass through the ticket gate of Kawaguchiko Station (Fujikyuko line), you can find the bus stop βTerminal 1β for Kawaguchiko Sightseeing Bus and Saiko Sightseeing Bus in front of you. There are three types of buses: βRetro Busβ, βOmnibusβ, and extra buses. Extra busses run during busy season.

what if i buy 1 day bus pass? do i need to show the pass to driver after or before the ride?
Great Video of the Red Line bus ride. Very useful for first time visitors. Nice to know that next stop is displayed on the screen in the front of the bus. Most vloggers Iβve seen usually buy the R-coupon which includes the ropeway and the cruise so I thought you needed to buy that to get on the sightseeing bus but it looks like you can ride it using your IC card. If we are just exploring Mt. Fuji area in one day, would you recommend to buy the bus pass or can we just use the IC card? Thanks!
