Greetings adventurers, this is part one of my Hokkaido adventure. Due to my canceled ferry, I am forced to make my way north to the ferry crossing at the northing tip of Honshu. During my ride I and encounter several challenges on the way and meet some great people. I hope you enjoy!

  1. If nothing more, the hardships and struggles make for more entertaining videos so there is a bright side. Amazing start to the series! Can't wait for the rest of the adventure!

  2. loving your channel man. pretty epic, as a japanophile and moto enthusiast, been throughly enjoying your channel.
just a headsup though, it looks like youre running an iphone on your dash as gps, i did the same riding with my iphone 12mini riding in vietnam; the vibration of the motor damaged the stabilizing motor of the phone and permanently damaged the phone camera. ive since heard this happen to many other people running iphones, many of whom uses a damper and case as well. just letting you know if you didnt know about this. cheers!

  3. It's not that easy to bend that 390ADV rim, so it must have been a really bad hit in the pothole. Many I know who owns the bike built confidence and kept going with the stock alloy wheels instead of upgrading to spoke wheels for their occasional off-road adventures. Not advisable but KTM wheels are usually really good alloy or spoke :).

  4. The Japanese are experts at taking something simple and making it the most complicated thing ever.

  5. Great start, and looking forward to seeing more. I enjoy your style of story telling, ok little biased because of the bike, but well done.

  6. Dude my mind was blown when they had to call the cops just for you to take a u turn, like WOooot de fook O.o lol …cant imagine something like that happening here in India …btw you sound like them Anime narators when you speak Japanese 🙂 Subbed 😀
