This is a short video of our day trip to Mt.Fuji. Though we were not able to see Mt.Fuji as it was raining but still we had a great time exploring the beautiful town of Kawaguchiko.
Important Points
1, To reach Mt. Fuji you can take a busy from Shinjuku or train from both Shinjuku and Tokyo station.
2, I recommend to use Google maps as it is really help to plan the travel in Japan.
3, I also recommend to take Fujikyu train as it gives you a feeling of old time trains but remember its a limited express train and you need to buy ticket apart from you IC card.
4,Once you reach Kawaguchiko you need to look for Red line sightseeing bus that takes you to all the important places .
5, Some important places to visit are Lake Kawaguchiko, Panoramic ropeway, Music forest Museum and Onsen and Churieto Pagoda(for this you need to take a train from Kawaguchiko and not the sightseeing bus)
6, Try to reach early as the view is best at this time or late afternoon.
