Here’s a place most people wouldn’t know about due to the fact that you need to reserve at least a year in advance!

After waiting for exactly one year, we finally paid a visit to Todaka located in Gotanda Tokyo. Although he has three shops now, the owner Mr Todaka is always at the main store, which seats just 8 people in total.

There’s only one thing on the menu, which is the Omakase for ¥12000. It’s a multi-course event which includes all drinks, including a variety of freshly squeezed juices, a variety of sake and other alcoholic beverages.

The food is creative Japanese, and you won’t find his dishes anywhere else. The menu changes every 90 days and what we enjoyed was incredibly delicious.

All dishes are prepared right in front of you. It’s an amazing experience. We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already made reservations for our next meal on November 28,2023!!!!

If you’re looking for one special meal, I definitely recommend Todaka . We already got permission to film next time. He also has a branch at Toranomon Hills, where reservations can be had as early as this coming November 2022!
