I highly recommend Kamakura for a daytrip if you’re in Tokyo and want to get away from the city. Kamakura is located in the Kanagwa prefecture and is only about an hour away from Tokyo. It’s a laid back, lush coastal community that features 65 temples, 19 shrines, bamboo forests, caves and the Great Buddha (2nd largest Buddha statue in Japan) It’s peaceful , absolutely beautiful and has Hawaii vibes. @waynestagrams
