  1. As someone that lives in Wasaga Beach, it no longer looks like this. It has gone down hill and needs cleaning up. And the road is covered with sand now lol.

  2. Sorry but Grand Bend is definitely Not the #1 Beach in Ontario. The shoreline is horrible, and the water gets deep very fast too with lots of rocks on the shoreline. I wouldn't even put the Beach in the top 10 in all Ontario.

  3. Unfortunately , all the Great Lakes water levels are way up these last years , reducing beach widths down to a quarter of their size… a nice touch in these covid times !

  4. Can't believe no beaches listed from Prince Edward County. The Sandbanks would put any of these three to shame.

  5. Great vid, Grand Bend has a problem with Bull sharks though. They came down the St. Lawrence River.

  6. Pinery's Beach should have been #1. And wtf happened to Sauble? That looks horrible now

  7. go too the caribbean or the maldives if you have the cash..its alot better than anything canada has to offer.

  8. Wasaga is very over rated in my opinion. It was fun when you're young and want to hit the bars and stuff. I usually go well off the strip of I visit now. Sauble is more family oriented and if you have perfect sun it almost looks tropical. Grand Bend is an absolute nightmare to get to because of how packed it is and nowhere to park. It is very pretty, but it's always a hassle. If you're frustrated about parking (like many others), take a 15-20 minute trip from Grand Bend to The Pinery Provincial Park. It is an absolutely stunning beach, better than the Bend in my opinion and it is far less busy.

I've swam in all the Great Lakes but none top this small beach park in Lake Superior about 20 minutes north of Sault St. Marie. Every told me that Superior was far too cold to have more than a few minute dip, but thankfully they were wrong. This beach was not only beautiful but in the 6 hours that we were there last July we only saw one man and his dog. Because the beach in this area was rather shallow the water was VERY warm. Reminded me of Cuba.

    Great vid!
