This was our last full day in Hong Kong before we sail off to Macau; and of course we had to try to fit as much food into our day.

We didn’t let the rain and train delays stop us. We caught the double decker bus to Sham Shui Po district for HK breakfast at Sun Hang Yuen. Their Beef and Scrambled Egg Toasted Sandwiches are a must! Also order the HK Style French Toast and Beef Brisket Noodles if you’re hungry.

Another well known establishment is Hop Yik Tai (合益泰小食) a Michelin recommended restaurant famous for their Hong Kong Style Chee Cheong Fun 港式猪肠粉 (Steamed Rice Noodle Rolls). There is always a long line to takeaway but there is also room inside to dine in.

The next neighbourhood we visited was Prince Edward where we saw some very unique sighs; a Goldfish Market and Bird Market! Lunch we had delicious and affordable Dim Sum at One Dimsum and grabbed tried the HK Egg Tarts and Cheese Tarts at Queen Sophies.

For dinner stopped to check our McDonald’s Next; the only one in the world! If you want to try a daring dessert stop by Kai Kee Desserts for their the black sesame soup or try one or there other many Cantonese style desserts.

  5. That black sesame ball with sesame paste in a black sesame soup! Black Sesame inception 😍
We certainly missed it during our HK trip. Had it at Chinatown in Bangkok but it wasn’t anything like that, only plain balls with sesame paste inside in a ginger soup.

  6. You guys definitely know how to hunt down good local food 👍 would love to check out the egg tart place and Kai Kai dessert next time I'm in HK

  8. I don’t know whether you really enjoyed that black sesame soup or not? It was hard to tell hahahahaha, it seems so weird to have such a large bowl of goodness. Still can’t wait to see you guys at Lantau Island 😃

  9. Love the video guys. Makes me miss hong kong. Im also making videos on my channel. Check it out when you have some time !

  10. I really love your introduction to hk food! The fact that you don't talk too much on each food and introduce each dish perfectly makes me happy haha

  11. I went to Kai Kai Dessert last November after watching this video. There was no queuing, there were only three other customers inside and many staff were just standing around. This is what the rioting has done to HK.😅The egg pudding and mango dessert was nice though.

  12. It's not really that good. I went up to SSP to try this sandwich and I was really really disappointed. The big Portuguese sandwiches are much better. The rice noodles are really cheap, but again I was disappointed. The egg waffles are just so dry, like a wafer. However, yes, the egg tarts are really really good. Missing from this video are the pig's intestines, octopus and turkey kidney with spicy mustard…now they are really amazing.
