Many of you know we love to travel with our Norwegian Elkhound, Bo. For the past six weeks, Bo has been in an intensive off-leash obedience training program, spending 24 x 7 with his trainer, Lea DiBella of Smart Dog LLC in Metamora, MI. Today, Jennifer and I got Bo back and as Lea brought him to our home, we thought we’d show you just how smart Bo is. We can’t wait to start RVing with him again! Here’s a vlog about the handover.
You can learn more about Bo’s trainer at http://smartdogllc.com
I will also have Lea as a special guest on our RV Podcast to talk about traveling in an RV with dogs. Look for it in episode 166.
Bo can’t wait to go RV camping in our motorhome and show off his new smarts!

I need to send mine to college.🐶🍀👍
Where did he go to school and what type of training? Positive?
WAY 2 GO, BO !!!
Bo looks scared to death, follow command or else ! Laying the ears back is a
submission move.
Great job bo.
That poor dog was very submissive. What did they do to him?
Wow Bo is doing amazing 👍🏻
Dogs are relatively easy to train its' the humans that are the problem…lol
Bo is such a pretty dog and smart too. 👍🏽
Always love trained dogs. We get our new puppy dec 18th. But we do our own training and have for thirty years.. but never use a common word for a release command. My late boo boo boy was dragon. Common mistakes people make. Something not used in conversation so it don’t confuse the dog. Just my humble opinion
Bo has been under allot of pressure. You can have an obedient yet happy dog without doing that to him. I would not use that trainer.
So sweet, Bo!
And Jennifer, you look super cute and stylish in that hat. 🙂
Ears back and eye contact is a very good sign that you have his attention. He will thrive on consistently enforced rules. Well mannered dogs are far happier than dogs that are always yelled at. Just coming when you call him will keep him from running in front of a car or going near other dogs. Now Bo can enjoy the good life!
That is a scared dog. Very sad and I've unsubscribed.
So what are the 16 commands?
Bo is a smart dog 🙂 He is also a very cute dog. Congrats to you all!
