Today I’m taking the world’s most luxurious sleeper train, The Venice Simplon Orient Express, from Paris all the way to Istanbul. I’ll share with you exactly what the experience is like, from my private room, the three restaurant cars, along with all the luxurious amenities offered onboard. This is a train like no other, steeped in grandeur, history and style.

Run once a year, The Venice Simplon Orient Express will take us through 8 countries with various local excursions along the way. It also happens to be the world’s most expensive train ticket, with prices starting at over $50,000! As always, I paid in full myself for this experience so I can show you exactly what it’s like.

  1. Super video as always, great stroy telling and insights added – well done on these additions – make a lot of more interst

  2. This is a trip my wife & I would love to take, though that price is eye-watering. Did I miss something or is a tuxedo only expected in one dining car?

  3. Just did the one night from Venice to Paris. While the trip was good, and another tick off my bucket list, it was not great! After being in Milan and Venice, the food onboard was just "good" in comparison. Maybe if the food in Venice and MIlan hadn't been so great, I would have a different opinion. In addition, the cabin (same as yours) was decent, it is far from comfortable. We had to eat our breakfast off the foot stool, as there was not enough room for two people to sit at the table. Am I glad I did it; yes. Would I ever do it again; probably not!

  4. Why do you need to include showing us brushing your teeth on every vid? Why don't you record yourself having a shit at the same time? I'm sure we'll all appreciate and look forward to it.

  5. Flashback to Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express, the original. Thanks for posting. Glad no one was hurt. ^^

  6. 100% cash refund or 130% credit because of a few inconveniences, half of which were completely beyond the companie's control. 😮 Meanwhile in North America, airlines have to be legally forced to begrudgingly pay customers for their actual out-of-pocket expenses incurred because of the companie's own reckless and greedy buisness practices, like overbooking flights and cutting every possible corner to within millimeters of the legal limit. Even then, they force customers to jump through every possible hoop they can put in their way, hoping that at least half of them decide the refund isn't worth the bother.

  7. You must have had to go in a diet after finishing your trip with all the food you consumed. 😂

  8. If you need a cameraman for next year's trip let me know bro! I've wanted to do this journey my entire life.

  9. Отличное путешествие! Столько стран, культур, людей! Ориент Экспресс ассоциируется у меня навсегда с королевой детектива Агатой Кристи. Спасибо за видео, Уилл! Удачи Вам!
