Embark on a captivating 4K silent walking tour with me, as we journey from Makati Cinema Square to the newly christened Makati Central Square.

This mall holds countless cherished memories for me. I can still vividly recall the exhilarating kiddie car rides in the basement, the allure of the cinemas, and the bustling DVD shops, although they’ve all faded into the past.

Revisiting this place was a heartwarming nostalgia trip, with a few stalwarts like Booksale, Jollibee, StarApple, Superbowl, and Magoo’s Pizza still standing strong. To my surprise, I even spotted the same guy who used to hawk DVDs back in the early 2000s, now peddling an entirely different range of wares.

MCS remains a top destination for dining, boasting an array of delectable Japanese and Korean restaurants. The vibrant tiangge stalls, the bowling alley, and specialty shops continue to add to the lively atmosphere.
