Visit http://www.squarespace.com/flyingthenest – We are heading out to one of our top bucket list destinations in the world…but before we get there we have to land at the Paro airport…known as one of the most dangerous landings in the world due to it’s proximity to the Himalayan mountains.

Thanks to Breathe Bhutan for making this trip happen: https://www.breathebhutan.com/

Hi, we are Stephen, Jess and little Hunter, a traveling family who spent 2020 self-converting a van before moving in full-time to drive around our home country of Australia. We have now completed our lap, said our goodbyes, and resumed full-time travel before we wait for our second baby to arrive.

  1. The smile of the little Hunter eating mango! 😍 The look of the little baby to Daddy at the Paro's airport. 🤩

  2. Maybe you are destined to be a Filipino, Jess because we celebrate Christmas starting September😂🎉

  3. Bhutan is one of my dream countries to visit besides Tibet , Mongolia , Nepal.
My admiration of you how you handle travel with your 2 cute kids. Your so lively as though travelling alone. Enjoy the treasure of Bhutan – HAPPINESS.

  4. No wonder Bhutan is known for having the happiest people in the entire world! They are so caring and welcoming. Enjoy your trip! ❤

  5. I am creased with laughter at the clip of you running through the market in the torrential rain! Hunter was loving it though 🙂

  6. I don't know what happens behind the scenes, but you guys look like such a happy family that truly enjoys their travels and takes things in stride. I don't think I can ever recall a vlog where one of you appeared angry or upset. With traveling I am sure there must have been times that upset you. Nonetheless, we viewers love it!

  7. Wow 😍🤩 somewhere that has never crossed my mind but absolutely breath taking including the lovely people 🫶 I can't wait to see this adventure. You guys are truly living the best life, I am in awe and think you're all amazing 🫶

  8. Ok these eyes may have welled up when your guide sang to you 😌that reaction is hardly new on this channel. Also I don't believe Stephen was expecting such a chill response from Jesse after he disclosed the details of the airport they were flying into! 😁

  9. One thing to keep in mind about Bhutanese hospitality is that in a way it's similar to that of North Korea.
Without a personal guide, you are not allowed to move anywhere besides Paro and Thimphu, and they do make sure you don't get anywhere you're "not supposed" to be.
So in a way this is a bold move to show the beauty of Bhutan while carefully hiding the ugly side of it. While you may appreciate the honors given to you, don't forget what the real purpose here is.

  10. Wow, travelling is hard enough as an adult, let alone with such young kids. Hey kids ,remember when we visited Bhutan? Nope.

  11. Does anyone know of a good app similar to flighty that does updates etc? I don't have an iphone so can't download it. Android over here

  12. Amazing guys. Inspiring us to travel with our little one. It’s been so amazing to watch you guys go from your first year away travelling to this. I feel like I’ve grown up with you both!

  13. I love these adventures! They give me confidence that things are possible! Also try Samsonite for suitcases 2kg for a hardtop!

  14. 18:02 amazing adventure! Question- which camera and microphone are you using at runway Bhutan? It’s good👍 Please answer hope you do

And if you can, what camera mic do you generally use in recent vlogs cause quality of audio and video is great! I think no post production?
    Thanks!

  15. I love the video's! It must be really hard with 2 small children. The thing that i am having problems with is that you always mension that you are somewhere that is bucketlist. You can have a wischlist, but a real bucketlist is so much smaller! A real bucketlist is a few items that you wish to do when you got told howmuch time you have. I love the channel, just be aware that a wishlist and a bucketlist are not the same

  16. Bhutan truly seems like a hidden gem 🇧🇹, and your video beautifully showcases its welcoming culture and stunning architecture. Kudos for capturing the genuine warmth of the Bhutanese people. It's heartwarming to see Koa embracing the journey with such ease. Looking forward to immersing myself in more of Bhutan's wonders through your lens! 📷✨
