  1. Wow, this is only possible in my dreams.I have really enjoyed your video.I hope to one day visit Japan but until then, I have subscribed to follow your adventures and support your efforts

  2. Japan is such a wonderful place for hiking. the nature there is just the perfect backdrop and all of these hikes you did on the route bear (bare?) that out. Great video as always Jack. I did a few half day hikes when I was in Japan but I didnt document them and frankly I cant really remember where they were but if i did a look on google maps i could probably work some of them out. We lived in Central Iwate, and I did a trip west to the coast and stayed in Niigata before heading south. I did a hike partially up and mountain and back and another one from temple to temple somewhere out in the west.. lol sorry rambling. great vid as I said!

  3. I mean how doesnt that sound like the coolest thing in the world?! Japanese and samurai cultures alike are some of the most fascinating things in the world, and to walk a mile in their shoes would be incredible!

  4. Oh I've seen part of this on Abroad in Japan, although they don't go as in depth about the actual hiking part. The scenery looks amazing. This is a true bucket list item. The historical villages are the highlight of what I want to see. The question is would it be better to go during the Sakura season or Fall colors.

  5. Wow, this looks like a gorgeous place for a hike! Awesome drone shots and great job explaining everything! 🙂
