Hakugei (白鯨 White Whale) is Manufacturer Rocky Mountain Construction’s new for 2019 roller coaster located at Nagashima Spa Land! The first RMC in Asia! Enjoy this front row and off-ride of the attraction by Nagashima Spa Land.
This is a mounted on-ride, front POV in 4K U HD, at 60fps. The coaster’s reaction has been positive and seems to have shocked riders. The ride makes use of the old White Cyclone wooden roller coaster structure and adds blue steel I-Box track. It transforms the coaster from a rough wooden ride to a smooth-as-butter steel coaster. It features an 80-degree drop and 66-67 miles per hour top speed. Another fantastic ride by RMC and the company’s latest roller coaster to open.

Hakugei is available with an express entrance to an assigned row for people who would like to ride without waiting. Nagashima Spa Land is located in Mie Prefecture, Kuwana, Japan. One thing we know for sure is the new roller coaster is a hit and creating a lot of buzz around the area!

Audio is taken and synced up from the back row POV seen above and enhanced in areas with other sound bytes to hear the track. You can also hear the reactions of the surprised riders. The ride also seems to be running about 5 seconds faster from first drop to finish in the back seat pov vs. the recording in the video, great news!

    I feel sorry for the people who go here thinking that this is what Other RMC hybrids are like. This is ridiculously slow looking compared to the RMCs in the us as well as The ones in Europe

    Idk why but I kinda like that theres just a sharp unbanked turn between the top of the lift and the drop. I also really like the big double up. The RMC I Box really has some outside the box ideas

    Love that they took the time to paint the steel and wooden supports the same color – it really lends to the clean "classic" look instead of RMC's usual glue-sniffing alternate-retrofuturisitic look.
