Ill be heading to Japan again this year. I went last October and it was really fun. Didn't see too many tourist since I arrived 1 day after travel restrictions were lifted. Now I see many tourists are here now. I see most people not wearing masks but I will still bring mine because I heard people do wear them in the trains. If you have never been to Japan and would like to go, their are really good deals on hotels if you don't mind a small room. Food is also a bargain when you look for the right places to eat. I recommend visiting other city's also, not just Tokyo if your traveling there.
