Hiking an active volcano in Akita, Japan!

Akita-komagatake offers a number of trails and routes in the area. Some of them are dangerous and every year a few people fall and die off some of the more treacherous areas. A friend of a friend died there 4 years ago, and I heard a young man from Yokohama fell to his death last year. I didn’t go to any of the dangerous areas in this video, but be aware that they are there. (If you take the route I did, it’s clear sailing.)

I am planning to launch some Airbnb experiences in the next few months including some hiking related things if possible.
