Yep. This is the more common residential area in Metro Manila. But it's not an entirely deplorable thing… this contrast is a reflection of the region's growth. In fact, I assure you many of those living in "poor areas" are not actually poor. And it is also common to see new construction sites in the area where higher and more decent structures are built. The area is dynamic. It's constantly changing.
