Today we are having a sushi lunch at the brand new Japanese gastro pub in Epcot! Located in the Japan pavilion, Shiki-Sai just recently opened, replacing Tokyo Dining and is located right next to Teppan Edo. We are really excited to try this one and see if the sushi is as good as we think it might be. Enjoy!

That co has been in business like 300 years. They are clearly above average at what they do. Imagine Japan with an actual ride entered via the castle. Some day. When are we going to Japan?
Super jealous! Now I want some sushi😋 Dan, that new shirt is super cool!
That was a lot of unagi 😛
The food definitely looked fresh, albeit overpriced. I have to mention that an Izakaya is not meant to be a sushi bar/restaurant. It primarily serves small plates to be shared while enjoying drinks (usually beer or sake). I would give it another try, but order items like karaage, okonomiyaki, takoyaki and such. It’s probably still overpriced but you may find something new to like 😊
Shiki Sai literally means celebration of the 4 seasons in Japanese. Based on your video (which I love by the way) it looks like they are going for authenticity on the sushi and izakaya menu options. Out of the hundreds of sushi restaurants I've visited in Japan, only 2 had specialty rolls and they both went bankrupt. Sushi roll specialties are an American thing. I love them but I love the food you guys ordered and the other menu options more.
Kitteh!
Thanks for the Video. I just wanted to say you made my husband’s day when we were at EPCOT last week. He was so excited to meet you both. Thanks for the pin.
I love Publix sushi. $5 Wednesday special, with their spicy yum yum sauce. Sooooo good!
Are you going to review the restaurants at the Four Seasons on Disney property? I have heard great things about Capa and Ravello's.
