Great video. If you like historical sights I would recommend Matsumoto castle in Nagano ,Himeji castle in Hyogo, Takayama, Magome juku ,Tsumago juku ,Shirakawa-go in Gifu. There are lots of more places to go. Don't forget have Onsen experience. Takaragawa onsen in Gunma is highly recommend. Surrounded great nature.

Check " Tokyo Night Drive " et cetera on YouTube and try driving by a car rental, if possible. You may see beautiful night of Tokyo. Then you need to be good enough get used of left-side driving and know about complicated Tokyo Metropolitan Highway.
