    Nakano was my station so I walked thru the mall everyday. I liked that area but I live in a different part of Tokyo now.

    With respect. I love the trees and shrubs. I am amazed that there is no evidence of birds in the trees or bird excrement under the trees. A real issue in my city.

    I lived in Nakano for 4 years. I miss it a lot. Always something interesting going on. And the quality of Japanese food and service is unsurpassed. It also amazes me how efficiently Japan does infrastructure. When I was living there, they refurbished the entrance of Nakano station, added a bridge to easily get to the other side of the road, and added shelter areas and it didn't take much time to get done. And during the time of construction, they still made the station easily accessible. That's Japan.
