Yomitan Historical Tour Vol.1 Hijya River ~ Many of old American Housing

Yomitan village is the most highest population village in Japan!

I think its because by the Battle of Okinawa. After the war, 90% land of Yomitan took away to U.S. military and land backed step by step. That’s why land developing were so slow.

Then still many American style housing left in the area. (Of course the locals living the houses in this generation)

Very interesting and very historical area!
