(Part 2 of my Magical Mirai trip 2023 is coming soon, link will be pasted here once the video is live)

This video is mainly my experience of the 1st side event – Hatsune Miku 16th Promise Exhibition in Aqua City Odaiba, as well as the annual major Hatsune Miku event that just ended three weeks ago (by the time this video was uploaded), Magical Mirai 2023.

Speaking of Hatsune Miku 16th Promise Exhibition, I originally decided to skip this one, as my flight to Tokyo was in the morning, but due to the typhoon struck at my place of origin (& the warning signal was hoisted to the highest number possible during the weekend), I changed my flight to an overnight transit flight, and it paid off BIG! I spent two hours to visit this exhibition & it contained loads of contents of the celebration messages, full scale Vocaloid figures, the drafts of the Vocaloids, etc. I was so pleased that I could also leave my celebration message at the message board.

For this year’s Magical Mirai, the theme is hero (& the theme song is also called HERO [by Ayase]). Instead of celebrating the 15th anniversary for the Kagamine Rin & Len, Crypton Future Media Inc decides to celebrate the 16th birthday of Hatsune Miku in order to meet her setting of the forever 16th years old DIVA.

I woke up at 5am during the weekend, and I was too focused on purchasing my target merchandises that I forgot to film the exhibition venue & booths during day 2. Thank god I remembered to do this during the last day of Tokyo session.

The concert was always the core of this huge event. I attended 2 out of 6 concerts, both are night concerts. The encore list was a bit short, but nonetheless it was as exciting as previous years.

Not until the black out of the concert hall at the final concert then we all knew something was going on (as expected). Magical Mirai 2024 is confirmed for Osaka (venue pending due to renovation in Intex Osaka), Tokyo (Makuhari Messe) & Fukuoka (venue pending). YES, Fukuoka is selected for the 1st time ever to hold Magical Mirai, and it will be in August 2024.

As my previous experience videos are way too long (over an hour), this video will try to cut short (within half an hour), while not lacking the footage of exhibition. The footage of Tsunagaru Mirai 2023 maybe way too short for you guys, but I am trying to focus on the culture exchange with different Miku fans from all over the globe. Trust me, if you have a Twitter account, you have to participate this event, as the vacancy is usually filled up at a blazing speed.

Thank you for all your effort supporting Magical Mirai, and I hope this event stays still even Hatsune Miku has debut for 20 years since 2007.

To avoid any copyright infringements, no video footage of the concerts were shown, please purchase the original BD/DVD. (Not just better in quality but supporting original contents as well)
