This time, I visited Kiyomizu Temple (Kiyomizu Kannon) and Suwa Shrine in Chiba Prefecture.
Kiyomizu-dera Temple is located in Kyoto, but there does not seem to be any relationship between the two.
It is said to have been built by Tamuramaro Sakagami in the 2nd year of Daido (807).
It is a temple with a very long history.
After passing through two magnificent gates, we found that the temple was dedicated to the 47 Ronin of Ako and the Hyakko Kannon (Goddess of Mercy). The main hall at the top of the temple was quiet. Many goldfish were swimming in the pond beside it.
The main hall standing in the green was very historical.

Next is Suwa Kannon, also known as the Tunnel of the Eyes.
Please be careful of the steep stairs leading up to the main shrine building.
You will see the Tunnel of the Eyes behind the main hall.
We were not allowed to enter the tunnel now due to concerns that it might collapse.
Beyond the tunnel was a green bamboo forest.
It was another pleasant walk 😄.

今回は、千葉県の清水寺（清水観音）、諏訪神社に行ってきました。
清水寺は京都でありますが、関係はなさそうです。
坂上田村麻呂が、大同2年（807年）に建立したと言われています。
とても歴史のあるお寺です。
立派な山門を二つくぐると、赤穂四十七士、百観音が祭られていました。最上部にある本堂はひっそりとしていました。傍にある池にはたくさんの金魚が泳いでいました。
緑の中に立つ本殿はとても歴史を感じる佇まいでした。

次に諏訪観音、別名「 瞳のトンネル」と言われる所です。
神社の本殿に行くまでの階段は急階段の為、お気をつけください。
本堂の裏手に 瞳のトンネルが見えてきます。
今はトンネル内は崩れる心配があるため入ることはできませんでした。
トンネルの向こうには緑色の竹林が広がっていました。
今回も気持ちの良いお散歩ができました😄
