For the past ten weeks, our travels have been limited to a few short trips around the U.S. Why… isn’t really important, but we’re about to kick off a crazy few final months of 2023 and it starts with a marathon journey that starts in Denver, Colorado and takes us back to the capital of the Philippines — but over the course of two full days of airports, lounges, hotels, and taxis. This marks the beginning of a new hybrid home base setup that will take us back and forth almost every month between Denver and Manila so that we can branch out to explore even more countries around the world in the coming year.

ABOUT US

We’re the Lockwoods. And we’re traveling the world to experience—up close and in person—all the natural wonders and distinct cultures that our kids would otherwise be consuming only through textbooks and TV. We think it’s a better way to learn and we’re working hard to fund this little experiment in the hope that our kids will grow up wiser, kinder, and more grateful for the beauty of our diverse planet and its people.

  1. I Really love to watch the vlog of this family. I am a Filipino based here in Rome, ITALY. "Colt" is Very CUTE.Hope you could stay more time in my beloved country, getting a condo there in BGC and i assure you guys, your subscribers will definitely grow, grow and grow. So better take my country as a home base while travelling around the world vlogging of course the most prts of the Philippines. LAVYAH GUYS !!!

  2. Love your family and the positive energy you guys bring to your vlogs!

I am A Filipino who lived in Los Angeles for 31 years and now semi retired staying at our house in Quezon City.

Makes sense for your family to make BGC as your second home base. Flying out of Manila to other Asian countries is so much cheaper.

I have a friend from Los Angeles who is visiting me and after Oslob we are flying out of Cebu to Singapore for only $60 one way! Can't beat that!

All the best to you guys and I will continue following your videos!

    Enjoy the holidays in Manila!!

  3. Welcome back!!!! so very nice to view your new videos in the Phlippines, I really hope you got to buy a condo here, love your videos in the Philippines

  4. husband finally showed up = been in Blaine, Wash. crabbing – time 3 min. did Colt " not " want a kiss from mom or just not
    in public ?

  5. # 2 tell me Dad doesn't take a few " interesting " quick shote. Back later, heading for Les Schwab to get a flat fixed.

  6. New Subscriber here Sir. Thank you for loving the Philippines. It will be my future Retirement place and I am from CEBU. I and Family just found your travel videos as a Family from Denver.
Love Fort Carson and Watching from Texas. Watch your Six Guys always🙏🏻🇺🇸

  7. # 4 Just thinking of everything the kids are experiencing, they better do very good in school because they will be totally
spoiled after years of traveling with parents. OR, they just never move out. That works too. 😇

  8. # 5 When you have time in Guam spend a few hours at the museum called WAR IN THE PACIFIC. The kids might not be
too excited but for adults it is so interesting. I spent 3 or 4 hours there. They had a Japanese two man submarine out front.
Two men, sealed in, two torpedos and a one way trip for them. Found washed up on a Hawaiian beach.

  9. # 6 looking for condos in the PH. Only my opinion, the higher you are can some times take forever to take the elevator down.
I'm sure your friends can guide you right. Be sure to bargain the price.

  10. Yes, do stop by in Guam and hit us up. We’d love to show you around and discuss travels. My husband and I travel extensively too…every 45 days and would love to exchange notes and ideas. Hafa Adai and Mabuhay!

  14. OMG, this is so surreal I discovered you guys from your Florence vlog and we were planning our trip to Europe that time. Then you came to the Philippines and noticed you keep coming back, now condo searching and will be based here ha ha. Hope to bump in your family one of these days when I'm in BGC and meet you in person. Erin, I asked you about that Gucci bucket hat you had in Florence 😉

  15. I'm glad this family is back in the Philippines. I remember watching your vlog from months back where you enjoyed island hopping in the Philippines and your adventurous son who loves animals. Hope you enjoy more this time.

  16. Guys if want to live in a BGC atmosphere but less crowded, Ayala alabang would be your best bet. Its Bgc vibes with a quieter neighborhood. Worth the look trust me

  17. don't trust those cab drivers coz sometimes they might be pretending that they don't have change so they can keep the change…specially for foreigners they do take advantage, so it might be best if you guys keep some loose change to give to the cab…

  18. New subscriber here 🤗 I love mom duty family and I saw you guys your are awesome too 😂

  19. Taxi drivers in Manila with no change is a scam. Glad you had your money changed first before paying the driver

  20. Welcome back! Pleased to see your family back. Look forward to seeing your updates. Your February joke is quite something 🙂
