In my last winter trip in Japan, i tried to explore many snow festivals aside from the main one in Sapporo. Did some research and found the Kamakura Snow Festival in Yokote City Akita Prefecture
The snow drops was really heavy here making it a bit hard to move around but it was still manageable.
During the kamakura festival a lot of lantern candle light are being lit.
