I'm going back to the US for 30 days on Wednesday. My ticket was $1096 round trip Saigon to Dayton, Ohio. Cheapest I ever got was Saigon to Chicago, round trip for $575.
You love to live in Tarpanom, Thailand now you're in early 50th don't you think when you're over 80 if you still live as to what will you do by then. I have been living in Southern immigrated from Thailand when I was 31, now I'm 87 still live there. In USA particularly Southern California if you own home no any payment except utilities, with social security payment of $3000 a month you live well. Though, if you don't own the house with $3000 a month would not be enough because the rent is skyrocketing. You might as well move back to Thailand in which the cost of living is much cheaper. I hate the unbearable heat and humid that's why I move to California. Texas is even worse than California. You have made a right decision to move to Thailand and live near the big river.
Just like our Tops in Buri Ram, they changed it a month or so ago to like like yours and I didnt see Twisties that ours had once but not again.

I agree. I don't know what brand of fajitas you got at Tops Chuck, but the contents don't look like any fajitas I've had. At least they tasted good, and you'll finish them off later. You didn't waste your money..lol. The shopping trip was fun, and the porch looks great! 👍

I actually find it fascinating watching other people, from different countries, go shopping. I know you don't do real grocery shopping every week like some people do who aren't retired and traveling all the time, but it's interesting to see what interests you 😊

Hi, Chuck & Paige, I have noticed over the last few videos that you are purchasing instant mashed potato. For now and again it's okay but not part of a balanced diet. High in salt. We had a young single mom kill her toddler by overdosing on salt from Smash. So be aware.
The flooring on the porch looks great, How do the In-laws feel about it? The excitement must e kicking in with your Europe trip just around the corner. You need this break Chuck it' has been full on physically and mentally without what a kicking emotionally. Takes it out of a man because we are programmed to be Mr. Dependable, he will fix it. Sometimes we need a little TLC and a break from all the responsibility or we can get lost in other people's lives. Go off and have the best time ever. Everything will still be waiting for you on your return.

One thing I do find it difficult in Thailand is finding good Mexican and Tex Mex food.
